Inclusive by design
Accessibility.
We want people to be able to understand, navigate and use this website regardless of technology, ability or circumstance.
Our commitment
The Web Cartel is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as reasonably possible. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA when designing and maintaining the site.
This statement is based on an internal review and does not claim that the website has received independent accessibility certification.
What you should be able to do
- Zoom text and page content without losing essential information.
- Navigate the main content using a keyboard.
- Understand the page structure through meaningful headings and labels.
- Use forms with visible instructions and associated field labels.
- Read text with sufficient colour contrast against its background.
- Use the website on common mobile, tablet and desktop screen sizes.
- Reduce non-essential motion through your device preference where supported.
How we support accessibility
The website uses semantic HTML, responsive layouts, descriptive page titles, visible focus behaviour, alternative text for meaningful images and plain-language form instructions. We avoid relying on colour alone to communicate essential information.
New pages and substantial updates are reviewed for keyboard use, readable content order, responsive presentation and common contrast problems before publication.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain:
- Some third-party services, including the enquiry-form processor, have interfaces or behaviours that are not fully controlled by The Web Cartel.
- Very large text settings or unusual browser combinations may create minor layout issues.
- Older or externally supplied documents and content may not meet the same standard as the main website.
These points do not mean every visitor will encounter a problem. We will review reported barriers and make proportionate improvements where we can.
Report a problem
If you cannot access information or complete a task on this website, email hello@thewebcartel.co.uk.
Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong and—if you are comfortable sharing it—the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days.
If you need information in a different format, tell us what you need and we will consider the most practical accessible alternative.
Technical information
This website is built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is intended to work with current versions of major browsers. Its accessibility also depends on your browser, device, assistive technology and their settings working together.
